Tourist Information

  1. This site is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm, with ticket offices opening at 8:30 am and closing at 8:30pm. No entrance to the site is permitted after 9 pm. Adjustments to times may be made for special designated days. The EasyCard can be used for payments.
  2. Children's strollers, wheelchairs, guide-service handsets, and MiniBond devices are available on loan at the Expo site. Each expo area also has public- announcement facilities, lost and found services for people and possessions, currency exchange, tour guide and other types of information services, and an array of other helps, including ATMs, lockers, medical stations, and nursing stations. Should you have any questions, staff at the visitor information centers will provide assistance.
  3. In order to maintain order and safety, and to ensure the quality of your visit, the following articles are prohibited from the venue:
    (1) Illegal articles (guns, bullets, explosives and other such items).
    (2) Poisonous radioactive articles, any chemical preparation that could harm living organisms, poisons of any kind,    inflammables, and articles that are a danger to public health.                                                                                 
    (3) Bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, in-line skates, or other such articles                                                                   (4) Any shape or form of dangerous article (sharp weapons, fireworks, gas bottles/tanks, alcohol--including any alcoholic beverages--and other such articles).
  4. Visitors must hold onto their tickets (or EasyCard), and will be admitted only after their tickets have been examined at the gate. Lost tickets or cards will not be reissued. The price of the ticket includes an entertainment tax and public accident insurance. Please keep your tickets (or EasyCard), and any other documents, in a safe place to ensure your rights.
  5. When you enter the venue, please have your hand stamped with the Expo stamp by our staff. This enables you to re-enter the venue on the same day without having to pay again.
  6. Apart from services and exhibitions which have notices posted that they will be charged for, food and drinks, transport, and vending machines, all other facilities at the venue may be used free of charge on the day for which your ticket is valid.
  7. If because of unforeseen circumstances, maintenance, or for any other reason the operating hours, exhibition content, performances, entertainment facilities, or other facilities are either cancelled or temporarily closed, notices at the relevant site(s) will take precedence.
  8. Apart from designated smoking areas, smoking is totally prohibited at the venue. Transgressors will be dealt with under the "Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act".
  9. Apart from seeing-eye guide dogs, all other animals are prohibited from the venue.
  10. All visitors must abide by all stated instructions for use of the facilities at the Expo, and must also heed all instructions from the staff so as to avoid any accidents.
  11. Please do not touch, step on, or harm any of the horticulture that is on display – flowers, grass, trees, fruits, etc.
  12. Please take care of all the facilities at the venue. If you destroy a facility, willfully step on plants, grass, trees, fruits, etc., you will be held responsible for any compensation.
  13. Please keep your personal valuables safe so that they are not lost.
  14. You may not hand out flyers or conduct any other business, political, or religious activities at the venue.
  15. Transgressors will be dealt with by on-site police or venue staff according to the law.
  16. Matters not covered in these guidelines will be dealt with according to the "Social Order Protection Act" and the"Taipei City Parks Regulations".
