Horticulture Exhibit
Vertical Plant Wall
The entrance near the YuanShan MRT Station has the largest vertical plant wall in the country. Different methods of professional techniques were employed to scale new heights for the plant arrangements. The wall is 6 meters high, with plants and flowers decorated on both sides. The pattern and night lights are one of the many features of this landscape wall. As night falls, the LED lights light up the plant wall and the spectacular illumination creates a gorgeous splendor of images, making it quite a show.
Flora Rainbows
Flora Rainbows can be seen on Zhongshan Soccer Stadium's seating and viewing platform. Taking advantage of the stadium's slopes, floral designers created a beautiful sea of colors and textures. Different species of zinnia, mealy sage, globe amaranth, and painted nettle in a dizzying array of colors are used to represent change and diversity. Over 210,000 plants are used in each seasonal display, for a total of 860,000 plants over the course of the expo. The exhibition's name was inspired by the wide spectrum of colors found in the display.
Flower Wall
The park features a 2 to 3 meter high flower-themed wall. The structure is a rarely-seen labyrinth consisting of wave-shaped plant walls, with perennial plants decorating the surfaces on both sides. Six major pattern and color changes have been planned for walls based on flower season and blooming time. Each period comprises 50 thousand plants, and that is 330 thousand plants in total. This kind of professional technique redefines the vertical arrangements of perennial and foliage plants as a way of expressing landscape art.
Flower Landscape
The Flower Landscape is a vast, 9,323 m² sea of flowers planted on a gentle hill. Minimalist yet generous in style, the Flower Landscape boasts simple color combinations that are stunningly eye-catching. The 580,000 plants and flowers used in the Flower Landscape will change periodically over the course of the Expo and will total over 3.39 million plants and flowers . From blues and purples to reds and yellows to earth tones, the Flower Landscape will stay true to the simplicity and elegance of nature and visitors will be treated to a variety of landscapes throughout the Expo.

Xi'an Courtyard
A Chinese garden architecture is created through natural mountains and waters landscape. "Wall" is used as a main element to represent the historical relics of Xi'an. The combination of three different walls shows the history, culture and ecology of Xi'an. The narrow channel runs through the Nine Chang'an City, symbolizing the eight rivers encircling Chang'an that provides abundant water supply. "The Tree of Life" represents the arched door of a construction feat. The life of this tree is given by nature and incorporated into the art of modern architecture. The persimmon tree in the park is native to Xi'an. Four trees were planted to bring auspicious blessings as people often say in Chinese that four persimmons bring good luck. Also, Rock's peony, often grown in China, is brought here to this land, hoping that a simple friendship will blossom between the two cultures.
