The 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo features a total of 14 different venues where you can enjoy a veritable world of foods and drinks. Take your choice from Chinese or Western cuisines, light snacks, boxed sets, the delicacies of local areas of Taiwan, and an intriguing array of foods with flowers incorporated into the recipe. And of course there are the sublime teas of Taiwan, all served with the finest of hospitality.

1.East side of EXPO Dome –International Foods Traditional Taiwan Foods

Floral teas, French garlic bread, Japanese set-menu meals and rice meals, Korean stone-bowl bibimbap, spicy stir-fried rice cakes; you don’t need to travel round the world to enjoy its best and most iconic foods. At the same time, here you can enjoy Taiwan’s traditional best, with soysauce-stewed meats, oyster omelets, beef noodles, and other beloved culinary treasures.

2.Taipei Story House –Western Meals

Special Flora Expo-themed meals as well as Italian spaghetti and elegant French desserts. Afternoon tea served daily and Western-style take-out box lunches.

3.Pavilion of Aroma of Flowers–Flower-Themed and Light Meals

The focus is on flowers as part of the fare, with C3 on the map delightful surprises such as lunch boxes with foods cooked in fresh lotus leaves and many types of flower-shaped or flower-flavored bread.

4.Palace of Floral Teas –Teas and Related Foods

Choose from a variety of foods and drinks centered around tea. At the same t ime, experience the cultured elegance of a Qing Dynasty garden in the south Fujian style.

5.Taiwanese Gourmet Delight –Traditional Local Snack Foods

Various special foods and snacks from every corner of Taiwan are here – Tainan shrimp rolls, Tainan danzai noodles, Hsinchu meatballs and rice noodles, Pingtung pig’s knuckles, Changhua meat dumplings and oysters, Taoyuan duck meat, and many other local favorites.

6.Northwest Side of Flower Base under Trees – Coffees and Light Foods

7.Flora Expo Biandang (Lunch boxes)

At the Expo site numerous types of reasonably priced classic traditional biandang or lunchboxes are available, in limited quantity. Chefs have paid special attention to using the healthiest and most nutritious ingredients, and have specially introduced tasty flower and herb additions, bringing a balance of Flora Expo nutrition and great taste.
